Service area
JDOT serves Clay County, Florida only. JDOT does not currently dispatch to Jacksonville, the Westside corridor, Duval County, St. Johns County, or any area outside Clay County.
Quoting and pricing
Flat-rate quotes are based on the photos and details you provide. The number quoted is the number paid pending no scope change. Scope changes — more items, harder access, hazardous materials surfaced on site, undisclosed conditions — may change the quote and require your re-confirmation before work continues.
Customer responsibilities
Provide accurate scope and access details, ensure JDOT can legally and safely access the property, identify the items to be removed, and confirm the quote before dispatch.
Payment
Payment is due before work begins, unless JDOT confirms otherwise in writing. JDOT accepts credit card, debit card, and digital payment.
Scheduling, cancellation, rescheduling, no-show, access failure
Plans change. Contact JDOT before your confirmed dispatch window to reschedule. If JDOT is en route or arrives and cannot access the work, the dispatch may need to be rescheduled and a dispatch fee may apply. No work begins until scope, access, and payment are confirmed.
Weather and safety holds
JDOT may pause, delay, or reschedule a dispatch for lightning, heavy rain, flooding, extreme heat, unsafe access, or any condition that creates a safety risk. If weather interrupts a job already in progress, JDOT secures the work area as best as possible and coordinates the next available dispatch window.
Damage and incident process
JDOT works carefully around walls, doors, floors, driveways, gates, and landscaping. Before work begins, JDOT may document the condition of the work area for the field report. If damage occurs during a dispatch, the work stops, the issue is documented, and you are notified before the job continues. Existing damage, tight access, weak flooring, unstable piles, or items requiring forced removal may affect whether the dispatch can proceed.
Prohibited and out-of-scope items
The canonical list lives at /accepted-items. JDOT does not haul tires, hazardous materials, biological waste, asbestos and lead-paint debris, batteries, paint, solvents, pool chemicals, medical waste, firearms, ammunition, titled vehicles, unopened safes, active demolition, or moving jobs.
Disposal and donation routing
Usable items are routed to local donation partners before anything is taken to the landfill. Refrigerant appliances are routed to a qualified recycling facility. JDOT does not guarantee a specific donation destination, a specific disposal route, a tax outcome, or that any third-party partner will accept any given item.
Recording and Field Reports
Every JDOT dispatch is recorded with video and audio. See the full Recording & Field Report Policy. By submitting a dispatch request, you acknowledge that recording is part of how JDOT operates.
Estate and sensitive jobs
Estate cleanouts, hoarding situations, and sensitive property clearances are handled with discretion. Recording continues; published content focuses on process — walkthrough, set-aside box, donation routing, broom-clean finish — not on grief, personal documents, or family photos.
Safety and stop-work
JDOT may pause or decline any dispatch involving unsafe access, hazardous materials, biological waste, active pests, unstable structures, or conditions that put the crew, customer, or property at risk.
No guarantees
JDOT does not guarantee donation acceptance, tax outcomes, exact disposal destinations, same-day service, weekday service, or acceptance of unusual items.
